Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
- 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
- 3 (15 oz. each) cans golden hominy, drained
Directions

1In a small skillet, cook onion and garlic in oil until tender. Remove from heat.

2In a bowl, combine onion mixture, sour cream, half of the cheese, milk and chilies.

3Add hominy; mix well.

4Pour into a greased 2-quart baking dish.

5Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes or until heated through.

6Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

7Serve immediately.
