- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. water for yeast
- 1 c. hot water
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 1/4 honey
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. oatmeal
Directions

1Soften yeast in 1/4 cup water; blend 1 cup hot water, oleo, honey and salt in large bowl.

2Cool to lukewarm; stir in about 1 1/2 cups flour and beat until smooth and elastic.

3Blend in yeast, eggs and oatmeal.

4Add the rest of flour and beat until smooth. Cover and let rise in warm place about an hour.

5Stir down and knead a little; turn into 2-quart round casserole dish.

6Bake 55 to 60 minutes at 375°.

7Let stand 10 minutes.

8Remove from dish.
