- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/3 cup honey
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. and grease a 8 inch square baking pan.

2Sift the cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt together.

3In a seperate bowl mix the egg, buttermilk oil and honey.

4Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients.

5Beat until smooth.

6Pour into pan.

7Bake 20 minutes edges may start to brown a little.
