  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups milk scalded
  • ground nutmeg

    Scald milk.

    Mix egg, honey, salt, and vanilla.

    Stir into milk gradually.

    Pour into custard cups.

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Place cups in pan of water (very hot) and bake about 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
