Honey Nut Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. uncooked oats
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. shelled sunflower seeds or nuts
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. raisins, dates and/or apricots

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Combine all the ingredients except the raisins. Mix well.

    Bake ingredients in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Stir occasionally.

    Stir in raisins.

    Spread onto ungreased sheet to cool.

    Store in dry place or better yet, refrigerate.
