- 3 to 3 1/2 lb. skinned, boneless chicken breasts
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (10 oz.) jar peach preserves
- 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
- 1 green pepper, cut in strips
- dash of pepper
Directions

1Place chicken breasts in a baking dish.

2Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3Combine preserves, barbecue sauce, onions and soy sauce.

4Pour over the chicken breasts.

5Cover and bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until done.

6Add water chestnuts and green pepper for final 10 minutes.
