  • cut-up chicken pieces
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar peach preserves
  • 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 1 green pepper, cut in strips
  • hot, cooked rice

Directions

    Mix preserves, barbecue sauce, onion and soy sauce.

    Pour over chicken in glass baking dish (13 x 9-inches).

    Add water chestnuts and green pepper.

    Bake 1 hour at 350°.
