- 2 cups long grain white rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions

1Place the rice in a bowl with enough hot water to cover it completely.

2Seal bowl with plastic wrap and let stand, at room temperature, for six to eight hours, or overnight.

3The next day, strain rice through a colander, discarding water.

4Place one cup water and one cup milk in blender with one cup of rice.

5Blend until liquified.

6Pour into a pitcher.

7Repeat with milk, water and rice.

8Pour through a strainer to remove extra rice pulp.

9Mix in sugar, vanilla and cinnamon and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.

10Mix in remaining water, stir.

11Chill thoroughly before serving.

12Pour into tall, ice-filled glasses and serve.
