  • 6 c. shredded potatoes or 1 (2 lb.) bag hash browns
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion, sauteed in butter (1/4 c.)
  • 3 c. crushed corn flakes
  • 1/2 c. melted butter

Directions

    Mix and bake all but last 2 ingredients in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan for 45 minutes in 350° oven.

    Remove and top with crushed corn flakes and melted butter.

    Mix and spread on top, return to oven and bake 15 minutes.

    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
