Hot Bacon Dressing

  • 5 or 6 pieces bacon
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • up to 2 c. water as needed

Directions

    Fry bacon; drain.

    Cut in little pieces.

    Heat flour, egg, vinegar, sugar and water (a little at a time) to make like a gravy.

    Add bacon pieces.

    Heat until thick, always stirring. Pour over lettuce or endive.
