Hot Bacon Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon, cut small and fried crisp
  • 1/2 c. bacon fat
  • 1 large onion, cut up
  • 7 oz. cider vinegar
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. mayonnaise

Directions

    Drain bacon; set aside and save 1/2 cup fat.

    Saute onion; add vinegar and sugar and boil for a few minutes.

    Remove from heat and stir in mayonnaise with wire whisk.

    Add bacon.

    Store in refrigerator.

    Heat only what you need at one time.

    Heat in microwave.
