Ingredients

  • 1 jar chipped beef
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • chopped pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. Beau Monde powder (about)
  • pumpernickel bread

Directions

    Rinse chipped beef in cold water and chop coarsely.

    Saute onion in butter.

    Add beef and saute 5 minutes.

    Add cream cheese and milk.
  5. 5
    Stir over low heat until cheese melts and combines with milk.

    Add grated cheese, mushrooms, pepper and Beau Monde.

    Mix all until hot.

    Serve with torn pumpernickel bread to dip.
