Ingredients

  • 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams and juice
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 lb. margarine
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 clove chopped garlic
  • 1/2 green or red pepper, chopped
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • dash of Tabasco sauce
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 3/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs

Directions

    Simmer clams and lemon juice for 15 minutes.

    Add 1/4 pound margarine; stir.

    Then mix in remainder of ingredients.

    Put mixture into small casserole dish and top with grated Parmesan or Romano cheese and paprika.

    Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes. Serve with crackers or corn chips.
