Ingredients

  • 3 cans chopped clams (and their liquid)
  • 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. Italian bread crumbs
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped fine
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1/4 lb. butter, melted or oil
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • paprika on top (be generous)

Directions

    Combine all the above into the casserole you will be cooking and serving in.

    Can make this the day before and reheat when serving; the flavor is better.

    Bake at 325° to 350° for 1/2 hour, covered with foil. Remove foil and brown 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with crackers.
