Hot Crab Spread

- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can flaked crab
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion (I use all of scallion)
- 1/2 tsp. cream-style horseradish
- 1/4 tsp. salt (I use seasoned salt)
- dash of pepper
- 1/3 c. sliced almonds (I always use more)
Directions

1Combine and blend cream cheese and milk.

2Add crabmeat (I always pick over just in case some cartilage has been overlooked), onion, horseradish, salt and pepper.

3Blend well by hand or by blender and spoon into ovenproof dish.

4Sprinkle with sliced almonds and bake at 375° for 15 minutes.

5Serve hot with crackers or party rye bread.

6(May be made a day ahead and heated before serving.)
