Ingredients

  • 1 package hot dogs
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • oil for frying
  • 1 1/2 cups rice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 3 cups water

Directions

    Cut hotdogs lengthwise, then into bite-size pieces.

    Brown in small amount of oil.

    Remove hotdogs, pour oil out, then add back to pan: hotdogs, bell pepper, onion, tomato sauce and the tomato sauce can of water.

    Simmer 20-30 minutes.

    Cook rice, butter and the 3 cups of water for 20 minutes. (Follow package directions.)

    Serve hot dog mixture over rice.
