- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. strong coffee
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Melt butter with hot coffee.

2Beat eggs.

3Stir in sugar and molasses.

4Combine with warm mixture.

5Stir in flour and ginger to make soft drop batter.

6Stir in baking powder.

7Spread dough on greased, floured cookie sheet.

8Bake 25 minutes in a 350° oven. While, hot, frost with 1 cup confectioners sugar mixed with 4 teaspoons cream.
