  • 1 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 3/4 c. hot water

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients in 9 x 9-inch square pan (ungreased). Mix milk, oil and vanilla into dry mixture with a fork.

    Mix together brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa and sprinkle on top.

    Pour hot water over top.

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

    Cool 15 minutes.
  6. 6
    Serve topped with ice cream.
