- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 6 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Measure in mixing bowl the sugar and 2 cups lukewarm water. Add yeast mixture (1/2 cup lukewarm water, yeast, salt and Crisco).

2Let stand 5 minutes.

3Add 3 cups flour and mix well. Add 3 more cups flour; mix well.

4Let stand until double in size. Make into rolls and let rise again.

5Bake in 425° oven.
