Ingredients
- 1 c. warm milk
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
- 3 to 3 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in the warm water.

2Add sugar, salt and shortening to milk.

3Add yeast to the milk mixture.

4Mix and add 3 cups of flour and stir well.

5Add more flour until dough is not so sticky.

6Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

7Place dough on floured board and knead until dough is blended well. Roll out and make into rolls.

8Place in greased pan.

9Let rise 30 minutes.

10Bake in preheated oven at 350° until well browned on top.

11Brush with butter.
