- 2 c. scalded milk
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 rounded tbsp. shortening
- 6-7 c. flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Add sugar, salt and shortening to scalded milk; let cool. Dissolve yeast in water.

2Add eggs to yeast and shortening mixtures and add flour just enough to make a soft dough.

3Let dough rise until double in bulk.

4Punch down and let rise again. Shape into rolls.

5Let rise until double in size.

6Bake at 350° 25 to 30 minutes.
