Ingredients
- 3 lb. head cabbage
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. butter
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar (or to taste)
Directions

1Grate cabbage and cook with 1 teaspoon salt and enough water to cover it.

2Cook until tender and drain.

3Combine sour cream, eggs, sugar and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

4Beat enough to mix.

5Pour drained cabbage back into large pan it was cooked in and melt butter with cabbage in pan.

6Pour sour cream mixture along with 2 tablespoons vinegar over cabbage.

7Simmer, but do not boil, for 20 to 30 minutes.

8Serve hot.

9Tastes even better the next day, reheated slowly.

10Be careful not to boil, as it scorches easily.
