Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 18 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 c. chopped bananas

Directions

    Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.

    Add eggs and oil, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened (do not beat).

    Stir in vanilla, pineapple, 1 cup nuts and 2 cups bananas.

    Spoon batter into 3 greased and floured 9-inch pans.

    Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.

    Cool 10 minutes in pan.

    Remove from pan and cool completely before frosting.
