  • 1 (16 ounce) can chickpeas, skins removed (garbanzo beans)
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 large garlic clove, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 12 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper

Directions

    Place all in food processor and blend until very creamy.

    Serve with toasted pita wedges or use in a pita sandwich as a dressing.
