  • 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas
  • 14 cup reserved bean water
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 3 -4 garlic cloves
  • 12 teaspoon garlic powder
  • fresh cracked pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley

Directions

    Place all ingredients into food processor and pulse until it reaches the desired consistency.

    Some people prefer a smooth consistency- I like to leave it a little chunky.
