- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 2 lb. beef chuck or round, cut in 1-inch cubes
- 1 c. sliced onion
- 2 small garlic cloves, minced
- 1 c. catsup
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. hot paprika
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 2 hot peppers with seeds
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 c. hot cooked noodles
Directions

1In large skillet, heat oil.

2Add beef, onion and garlic; cook and stir until meat is browned and onion is tender.

3Stir all other ingredients and 1 1/2 cups water; cover and simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

4Blend flour and 1/4 cup water; gradually add to goulash.

5Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

6Serve over noodles.
