  • 6 large to medium potatoes
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste

Directions

    Boil potatoes in jacket until almost done.

    Cool, peel and slice.

    Melt oleo in saucepan.

    Add soup and sour cream.

    Add salt, pepper and garlic powder.

    Alternate layers of potatoes and mixture.

    Sprinkle with grated cheese.

    Cook in oven at 350° until hot throughout and cheese is melted.
