- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. uncooked rice (scant)
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. parsley
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 lemon
- 1 head cabbage
Directions

1Season ground beef with salt, pepper and beaten egg.

2Mix in uncooked rice.

3Brown butter; add onion, celery and parsley.

4Add sugar, lemon and tomato soup.

5You can use tomato juice.

6Dip cabbage head in boiling water to loosen leaves.

7Put one spoonful of meat mixture on leaf.

8Roll lightly.

9Cover with sauce.

10Simmer 1 1/2 hours.
