  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 lb. dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Cream butter; add sugar, well beaten eggs, and vanilla; mix. Slowly add dry ingredients and nuts. Roll in 4 one inch rolls on wax paper. Chill 4 hours or place in freezer for more rapid chilling. Remove and slice into 1/8 inch slices. Bake on greased pan at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
