Ice Cream Cake

  • 1/3 c. melted margarine
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
  • 1 (16 oz.) Hershey's fudge sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) La Creme (like Cool Whip)
  • 1/2 c. chopped peanuts

Directions

    Mix margarine and cookie crumbs (all but 1 1/4 cups crumbs) together and pat in bottom of 9 x 13-inch cake pan.

    Spread softened ice cream on top of cookie crumb mixture.

    Put in freezer until ice cream is frozen again.

    Spread fudge sauce and nuts on top of ice cream.

    Then spread La Creme on top of that.

    Sprinkle on leftover cookie crumbs.

    Freeze until ready to serve.

    Let stand out a few minutes before cutting.
