- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (10 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces vanilla wafers
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 gallon ice cream (we use vanilla, softened)
Directions

1Grease 13x9 pan.

2Crush vanilla wafers, mix with melted butter (reserve 1 Cup for topping).

3Press cookie crumbs in greased pan.

4Melt chocolate chips and combine evap. milk and salt.

5Pour over crust, freeze until firm (about 20 min.).

6Spread softened ice cream over chocolate layer, top with remaining cookie crumbs.

7Freeze until firm.
