  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 rounded Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. heavy cream
  • more milk

Directions

    Cook first 4 ingredients, stirring often, to make custard. Cool. Add vanilla and heavy cream.

    Put in freezer, add milk to within one finger length of the top.

    Put in beater, put on lid and crank.

    Put in outside pail with ice and salt around it. Crank away!
