  • 2 c. dark brown sugar
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 1/2 c. flour, sifted 3 times
  • 1 c. nuts

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter.

    Add eggs and beat until smooth.

    Add flour, soda and salt.

    Mix well.

    Put into mold or roll and chill overnight.

    Slice as thin as possible and bake at 350° for 5 to 10 minutes.
