- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 c. warm water (110~)
- 3 Tbsp. dry yeast
- 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Combine water and 1 tablespoon of honey.

2Sprinkle yeast over and let stand until foamy.

3Combine milk, oil and butter; heat to lukewarm (110°).

4Place 4 1/2 cups flour in a bowl.

5Make a well and add the warm milk mixture, 1/2 cup of honey and the yeast mixture.

6Beat and then knead.

7Continue to knead.

8Continue to knead, adding more flour to make a medium dough.

9Place in greased bowl.

10Turn.

11Cover and let double.

12Punch down and shape into 3 loaves.

13Place in greased bowl.

14Turn.

15Cover and let double. Punch down and shape into 3 loaves.

16Place in greased loaf pans and let double.

17Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.

18Yields 3 (8 x 4-inch) loaves.
