Icebox Fruit Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 lb. marshmallows
  • 1/2 box raisins
  • 1/2 lb. butter flavor cookies, crushed
  • 2 c. pecans
  • 6 oz. maraschino cherries

Directions

    Melt marshmallows in hot milk.

    Stir all other ingredients into hot milk and marshmallows.

    Crush cookies real fine, put in loaf pan and chill 10 to 12 hours.

    I always save out a few pecans and cherries to decorate the top of the fruitcake by halving a few cherries, add a half cherry and a pecan half and keep it going until it is covered on top.

    It is a good one and very easy to make.
