Ingredients
- 3 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg (unbeaten)
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. Crisco
- 1 yeast cake or granular yeast
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water (must not be hot).

2Sift flour, salt and sugar into mixing bowl.

3Add Crisco and whole egg. Mix together with yeast water.

4Cover and put into refrigerator overnight.

5Roll dough out about 1-inch thick.

6Cut rolls and place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

7Let rise 3 hours.

8Bake in a 375° oven for 15 minutes or until nice and brown.

9This dough can also be used for cinnamon rolls.

10Serves 12.
