  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 4 c. sifted flour
  • 5 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. sifted flour

Directions

    Scald milk. Add shortening and sugar. Cool to 115° and then add yeast and 4 cups sifted flour and beat. Let rise.
