- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 6 c. flour
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. cold water
Directions

1Dissolve shortening, sugar, and salt in boiling water.

2Add eggs.

3Dissolve yeast in cold water.

4Add flour, 3 cups at a time. Sift flour 3 times.

5Make early in the morning and let rise a number of times, until about noon.

6Put in refrigerator for 2 hours.

7Make out dough about the size of a walnut.

8Place 3 to a Pyrex custard cup.

9This makes a cloverleaf roll.

10Let rise until the dinner hour.

11Bake in a 400° oven.
