  • 1 lb. fresh or canned crabmeat, fibers removed
  • crumbs from 2 slices dry bread (without crusts)
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. drained capers
  • dash of hot pepper sauce
  • buttered crumbs

Directions

    Flake crabmeat; mix with bread crumbs, mayonnaise and seasonings.

    Fill buttered ramekins (seashell dish).

    Cover with buttered crumbs and bake in preheated moderate oven (350°) for 30 minutes.
