- 2 lb. lamb shoulder, cut in 1-inch cubes
- 3 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 carrots, cut in 2-inch lengths
- 2 parsnips, cut in 2-inch lengths
- 6 small onions
- 5 small potatoes
- 10 oz. pkg. garden peas
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
Directions

1Flour meat and brown in a small amount of hot fat.

2Add water, salt and pepper.

3Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is almost tender. Stir frequently. Add carrots, parsnips, onions and potatoes. Cook about 20 minutes or until done.

4Add peas and parsley. Cook about 5 minutes and serve hot.
