Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lamb shoulder, cut in 1-inch cubes
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 carrots, cut in 2-inch lengths
  • 2 parsnips, cut in 2-inch lengths
  • 6 small onions
  • 5 small potatoes
  • 10 oz. pkg. garden peas
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley

Directions

    Flour meat and brown in a small amount of hot fat.

    Add water, salt and pepper.

    Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is almost tender. Stir frequently. Add carrots, parsnips, onions and potatoes. Cook about 20 minutes or until done.

    Add peas and parsley. Cook about 5 minutes and serve hot.
