- 2 lb. stew beef
- 6 large carrots
- 6 to 8 good sized potatoes
- 6 large onions
- 6 turnips
Directions

1Bring meat to a boil in large pan.

2When meat is about half cooked, add the carrots (sliced) and the onions and turnips (quartered).

3Cook until vegetables are about half done.

4Then add the potatoes (cut in quarters).

5Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the stew begins to thicken.
