- 6 yams, peeled and cubed
- 1 -2 cup sweetened coconut milk
- 12 cup dark rum
- 12 cup butter
- 1 -4 cup evaporated milk
- salt and pepper
- grated nutmeg
Directions

1Place yams in dutch oven and cover with water.

2Bring to boil and cook yams until soft, about 45 minutes.

3Drain.

4Mash with potato masher or large fork.

5Add sweetened coconut milk, rum, butter, evaporated milk, salt and pepper.

6Stir well until all ingredients are combined and smooth.

7Grate fresh nutmeg over potatoes, fold into mixture.

8Grate more nutmeg on potatoes and fold into mixture again.
