  • 8 lb. sirloin tip roast or brisket of beef *
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • rosemary
  • oregano
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans chicken broth

Directions

    Brown roast or brisket in 2 tablespoons of oil in a large Dutch oven.

    Season roast generously over the top with salt, pepper, garlic powder, rosemary and oregano.

    Pour chicken broth over the seasoned meat.

    Cover and bake in a slow oven at 300°, basting frequently, until very tender, about 4 to 5 hours.
