Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 lb. eye of round roast
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 3 small garlic cloves
  • 4 beef cubes
  • 5 c. hot water

Directions

    Cook roast, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 350°.

    Add all other ingredients together and pour over roast.

    Cover and cook for 3 1/2 hours at 350°.

    Marinate in liquid overnight in refrigerator. Slice the next day and cook in the marinade at 350° until warm.
