  • 3 to 4 lb. round roast
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. caraway seed
  • salt and pepper
  • green pepper, cut long

Directions

    Cook 3 hours at 325°, except green pepper.

    Add 1 1/2 to 3 cups water after removing roast from liquids.

    Put in green pepper (sliced).

    Slice roast and put in liquid.

    Serve on hard rolls.
