Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 lb. turkey burger
  • 1/2 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. Louisiana hot sauce
  • dash of Tabasco
  • 1 qt. hot salsa
  • 46 oz. can V-8 juice
  • 1 lb. penne pasta (uncooked)

Directions

    Fry the burger, sausage, onion and green pepper in the butter.

    When cooked, add cumin, hot sauce, Tabasco and salsa. Simmer for about 30 minutes.

    Add V-8 juice.

    Bring to boil and add pasta.

    Cook until pasta is just tender.

    Salt and pepper to taste.
