Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 8 oz. tomato paste
- 12 oz. tomato sauce
- 2 c. water
- 1 small can mushrooms
- 1/2 tsp. marjoram
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 pkg. long spaghetti
Directions

1Saute ground beef and drain off excess fat.

2Saute onion, celery and pepper in olive oil until pastel colored.

3Add to meat.

4Add oregano, marjoram, garlic and water.

5Simmer one hour. Add a little more water if needed.

6Add mushrooms, tomato paste and sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer for 4 hours. Stir often.

7Cook spaghetti according to directions.

8Add to sauce or serve separately.
