- 3 c. cornmeal
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. salad oil (vegetable oil)
- 3 eggs
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 1/2 c. finely chopped jalapeno (fresh or canned)
- 1 1/2 c. sharp cheese, shredded
- 1/4 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 c. pimientos, chopped
- 1/2 clove garlic, chopped fine
Directions

1Put cornmeal in large bowl, add milk and eggs and stir well. Add all other ingredients as given in order.

2Bake in 3 greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pans at 400°, about 35 minutes or until done.

3Can also be baked in muffin pans.
