  • 1 jar Paramount mincemeat with rum and brandy
  • 1 1/2 c. jam
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 4 whole eggs, separate the whites from the yellow
  • 1 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. candied cherries

    Cream shortening, sugar and egg yellows together.
