  • 1 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 c. blackberry jam

    Mix Wesson oil, sugar and eggs together.

    Sift flour, cocoa and spices together.

    Add flour mixture and buttermilk to oil mixture.

    Add jam and nuts.

    Using 3 (9-inch) pans, bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
